Lewisham House is a prominent 18-storey 1970s office building located on Molesworth Street, adjacent to Lewisham Shopping Centre and just a five-minute walk from the mainline and DLR stations.

Originally used by Citibank as a disaster recovery centre, the building had become underutilised and outdated.

RENU was initially engaged to undertake a strategic feasibility exercise exploring repurposing options. In May 2024, we were formally appointed as Development Manager to lead the transformation of the site into a 320-unit co-living scheme with shared amenity and community spaces at ground and rooftop level.

The proposed scheme will retain and reimagine the existing concrete frame, replacing infill panels and glazing and deliver a comprehensive internal refurbishment that meets modern expectations around acoustics, thermal performance, fire safety and sustainability.

Now progressing through planning, the scheme represents a major opportunity to reposition a redundant commercial asset into a high quality, socially driven living offer in one of South London’s most connected growth locations.
