Positively contributing to the regeneration of Tottenham

Located just a short walk from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, this site was formerly home to the Tottenham & Edmonton Weekly Herald printworks and Cusha & Sons printers. Owned by the football club, the site was initially consented for a 72-home residential scheme with a cinema in early 2022. However, post-COVID shifts in leisure demand rendered the scheme commercially unviable.

RENU were approached to reassess the opportunity and proposed a PBSA scheme responding to London's acute student housing shortage and the potential to support new the vitality into the area the football stadium has provided.

Working closely with the club and architects F3, we led a feasibility study and developed a planning strategy for a 321-bed PBSA scheme.

The design retains and reimagines heritage buildings on-site, preserving their character while integrating them into a cohesive new development.

Planning consent was granted in December 2023, and the team is now finalising a construction contract with the preferred delivery partner. Once complete, the scheme will act as a catalyst for supporting the wider local regeneration while supporting academic institutions across North and Central London.
